Dr. Islam completed his early education in a small town named Chandpur in Bangladesh. First, he completed his Secondary and Higher Secondary Education at Chandpur Al-Amin Academy School and College and, Subsequently, Chandpur Government College. Then, he completed his Diploma in Electronics Engineering and Bachelor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Bangladesh Technical Education Board and Bangladesh Institute of Technology, Dhaka. He also completed his Bachelor of Social Science and Master of Social Science in Political Science at Bangladesh National University from Govt Tolaram University College and Habibullah Bahar University College in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In addition, he studied for his Master of Business Administration specialized in Export Import Management and International Trade Management at NIBM Global, India. He also did his another MBA from Darul Ihsan University, Bangladesh. He completed his Doctor of Business Administration and PhD. in International Trade from the Atlantic International University, the USA, in 2011. He also completed another MBA from the European Institute of Leadership and Management, Dublin, Ireland in 2024. 

Out of his mainstream study, he is still a law student of University of London, taking courses in HKUSPACE and dreams of being a lawyer in Hong Kong in the future.
